Posts of drawings from life drawing group, discussions of ways to improve drawings, use of different tools, media, etc.
Welcome
This is about improving our drawing experiences, and hopefully have something to build on and expand our critiques. If you have a drawing you want to talk about, you should be able to post pictures and comments. If you have difficulty, just email me! Should be fun! Thanks!
I have struggled with trying to stay loose and at the same time allow my voice to just be . . . . a struggle I think we all have. Sometimes it works, sometimes it sucks! This one is somewhere in the middle.
Drawing 25 minutes, graphite, charcoal on funky paper. This is a handmade Japanese paper with shell impregnated in it and a scrapey texture. So it has bits in it that reflect light, and not particularly friendly to charcoal! And yes, I changed the narrative a little bit. ;-)
